When it came to selecting the right architects to create a distinctive design for Love Condos, the spectacular new condominium development adjacent to the Tam O’Shanter Golf Course in Scarborough, Gemterra Developments Corporation chose the acclaimed Turner Fleischer Architects Inc.

The exterior of the 20-storey first tower is a mixture of glass window wall and metal panels, with the townhouses having a finer grained brick to make them more street friendly.”

He explains that the window wall allows in generous amounts of natural light, as do the glass railings on the balconies. “Each suite is essentially rectangular, but the upper-floor balconies and some outdoor areas off the outside rooms are curved to give the building a geometrically clean, modern shape. Most of the residential condominium market prefers a contemporary look today, so LOVE’s architecture is a good fit with what purchasers want.”
